Struggling with Subscription Chaos? Mastercard’s New Tool Could Be the Answer!
Mastercard is introducing a new service for companies using their business cards across the Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa region. This new feature, created in partnership with a tech company called Nuclei, is designed to help small businesses manage their subscriptions more efficiently and save money.
Essentially, small businesses often have multiple subscriptions to manage—software, tools, and other services—each with different renewal dates. This can become a bit of a headache, and sometimes businesses even forget to cancel subscriptions they no longer need, leading to unnecessary expenses. The new platform solves this by providing an easy way to track and manage all those subscriptions in one place.
Another plus is that it encourages businesses to use their Mastercard for subscription payments, which is faster and more efficient than traditional account-to-account transfers.
Ankur Joshi, the CEO of Nuclei, pointed out that subscriptions have become a huge trend, covering all kinds of products and services that businesses rely on regularly. The tool helps companies get the most value out of these subscriptions by removing the inefficiencies in the process.
Thomas Kuncheria, from Mastercard, also highlighted that small businesses are crucial to sustainable economic growth, but many struggle with the fast pace of digital change. Through this partnership, they want to help MSMEs navigate this shift by offering solutions to common challenges, like the high costs and time it takes to manage business subscriptions.
