Auction for Dubai Animal Rescue Centre

Dubai Animal Rescue Centre (DARC) are hosting a charity auction evening, where attendees will have the opportunity to take a tour of the sanctuary, interact with the animals, listen to live music by DJ Bliss and take part in an auction.

DARC is run by an Emirati woman, Ayesha Kelaif, and a group of volunteers and since its inception has rescued, rehabilitated and opened it’s doors to over 200 animals.

The Al Barsha based sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue, treatment, care and welfare of lost, abandoned and injured animals, including exotics, birds, tortoises, equine, rodents and more. With more help and awareness from the public plans to establish a bigger centre will be fulfilled in the future.

DARC@7, organised with the help of Voice4Charity, will be held Monday, 23rd May 2011, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at DARC in Al Barsha.
