13 regional startups receive $4.75M in investments

UAEpreneur, a business incubator by Innovest Middle East, selected 13 startups, who got the opportunity to present their pitches to angel investors at the Investor Day in Dubai.

Each startups presented a five-minute pitch that concluded with them asking for the investment they needed in order to take their business idea to the next level. The ask ranged from $100 thousand to $1 million, and in total managed to get $4.75 million.

The incubator, that selected 13 startups amongst more than 100 applicants, received support from the University of Manchester Middle East Centre in Dubai for the screening process. Applicants came mostly from digital businesses based in the Middle East and surrounding countries, including Lebanon, Egypt, Palestine, UAE and Iraq.
