Etisalat partners with AI and Blockchain startups to accelerate adoption

The Dubai Future Accelerators are an initiative by the Dubai government to encourage and spur innovation and entrepreneurship. Through its expansive program, the Dubai Future Accelerator will bring together top international companies and entrepreneurs to address seven key “21st century opportunities”, including the application of cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and distributed ledgers or blockchain technology. Through its partnerships with world-renowned institutions, the accelerators are able to accelerate the growth of the startups.

Recently, the telecom operator, Etisalat, announced that it had signed four agreements with startups that went through the accelerator process as part of their Future Now initiative. The startups come from all over the globe to tackle artificial intelligence and blockchain problems – one from the UAE, one from China, one from Hong Kong and one from the United States.
