Strategic Swvl-Ford partnership announced
Partnerships create win-win situations, and give a great indication of where the market trends and economy are headed. Be it for a startup or multinational corporate, there is a great deal of value to be achieved by both.
A new strategic partnership within the ride-sharing market comes from Ford’s commercial team handling Transit vehicles, and Swvl, Egypt’s growing ride-sharing transport service.
The partnership will see Ford’s Transit minibuses become the vehicle of choice on Swvl’s routes. They meet excellent safety standards compared to others in the same price class, while giving more space and comfort to the passengers.
This is not Swvl’s only partnership. It clearly understands the value agreements bring and has also partnered with two local financial institutions, Nasser Social Bank and EFG Hermes, “to offer competitive lending rates” to Swvl’s minibus operators want to buy the Ford Transit bus for their services.
