The Falcons: Unleash your startup’s potential with exclusive funding opportunities in the UAE
With the debut of 'The Falcons' reality TV show, startups in the UAE now have a new venue to pitch for investment. The concept of the reality TV programme revolves around a group of participants asking for a certain amount of money in exchange for a certain percentage of ownership in their firm.
In a ten-episode season, the show brings the strain, suspense, and pride of raising capital to TV screens in the UAE. Horses Production Private Limited (HPPL), an Indian media company that generates intellectual products especially for the business sector and the current global startup boom, is bringing the show to the UAE. NKN Media, based in Dubai, will co-produce the show.
Entrepreneurs that are confident in their product can pitch their concepts to a panel of investors and receive immediate response. If the panel, or even just one of the investors, believes in the project, they will be offered funding in front of the camera. The startup has the choice of accepting or rejecting the offer.
Startup founders can enter the show in order to be in front of an investment panel. This immediate interaction will provide invaluable feedback and potential on-the-spot investment decisions, allowing entrepreneurs to get off to a good start.
Prashant Agarwal, founder and CEO of HPPL, expressed his enthusiasm for the show's debut and the potential it provides for UAE businesses. “We are thrilled to bring this show to the fore-front, offering startups a platform to gain visibility and branding opportunities. ‘The Falcons’ aims to foster a vibrant ecosystem for startups, and we look forward to supporting and nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs.”
“With ‘The Falcons,’ our primary objective is to create a win-win situation for both startups and investors,” NKN Media CEO and Managing Director, Abdul Majid Khan stated.
Startups interested in applying for 'The Falcons' can start the process by visiting the show's official website. Applicants will be asked to enter basic information about themselves and their business on the registration page. Additionally, startups must submit a pitch deck or video presenting their business idea and explaining why it has the potential to succeed. All proposals will be carefully reviewed by the Falcons team, and the most promising entrepreneurs will be chosen to participate in the show.
Startups must have a minimum of eight months in operation and exhibit innovation, impact, and investment potential to be qualified for the show. Investors should be able to pledge funds on the spot in order to support startups and entrepreneurs. Every nationality is welcome.
This show's English broadcast partner will be India Today TV. The show, which is set to air in October 2023, will be dubbed in Arabic and Hindi.
