UAE top venue for high-end luxury exhibitions
Artaaj, organisers of the Big Boys Toys show, a luxury lifestyle event, has revealed that the UAE still remains a top venue for high-end lifestyle luxury exhibitions.
Big Boys Toys 2011 drew in a large crowd during its four-day run and was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan and other members of the royal family along with several key VIP dignitaries. Spread over 17,300 sq. metres, of three exhibition halls, Big Boys Toys featured luxury products like personalised helicopters and customised off-road and street legal super cars.
One of the highlights of the show was the awarding of the mega raffle grand prize to Mr. Atul Kumar, who went home with a high end luxury lifestyle product package that included a BWA luxury boat, a Kawasaki jet ski, an Ice Link watch; the world’s largest 3D LED TV from LG; a Humberto Ribeiro autographed sports bike; a five-night holiday package for two to Thailand, Yas Hotel Health Club memberships, a helicopter tour for four people from Abu Dhabi Aviation and a Bykal Couture chair.
“This was truly a memorable edition of Big Boys Toys as many exhibitors were able to close many deals and have also gained a lot of queries. The event proved to be a strategic platform that not only highlighted the latest in luxury lifestyle products but also showcased world class entertainment features, high-octane competitions and musical concerts, making it a truly memorable weekend for our visitors,” said Biju Jayaraaj, Chief Executive Officer, Artaaj.
Visitors to this year’s show were also able to witness never before seen products ranging from cars to art, off-road, marine, aviation, digital and lifestyle. The event also presented entertainment shows from world class athletes and performers like internationally acclaimed contortionist Lilia Stepanova, motorcycle stunt rider Humberto Ribeiro, parkour performance group 3Run and famed football freestylers, Billy and Jeremy.
“We have received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from this year’s visitors who have described the event as cool, fun and awesome. The upbeat response has prompted us to expand and move to become the biggest luxury lifestyle show in the country. In fact, we are already in the planning stages for the next edition and we promise it is going to be bigger and better,” concluded Jayaraaj.
