GITEX GLOBAL and Expand North Star Set to Break Records in 2023
The global tech and start-up community's surging demand has propelled the 43rd edition of GITEX GLOBAL and Expand North Star to new heights, transforming Dubai into the epicentre of technological innovation. The events are scheduled to take place from October 15 to 20, 2023, across two venues in Dubai.
GITEX GLOBAL: A Showcase of Technological Innovation
GITEX GLOBAL, hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is set to host more than 6,000 exhibitors from around the world. This tech event will occupy 41 halls, covering 2.7 million square feet of exhibition space – a 35 percent increase over the previous year. The event will focus on the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the tech industry, with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI).
The event will feature the year's largest AI showcase and summit, highlighting how AI is transforming various aspects of our lives, governments, businesses, and society. With 3,500 AI-infused exhibitors, GITEX GLOBAL aims to explore the potential of this groundbreaking technology.
The event will also address the growing importance of cybersecurity with GITEX Cyber Valley, bringing together leading information security brands and global experts to tackle the challenges posed by cybercriminals.
Additionally, launch shows like GITEX Impact and Future Urbanism Expo will focus on climate technology and sustainability, aligning with efforts to address climate change ahead of the UN climate change summit, COP28.
GITEX GLOBAL 2023 will bring together tech giants like Dell Technologies, Google, Huawei, HP, IBM, Microsoft, and Tonomus. These industry leaders will delve into the latest trends reshaping entire industries. Expand North Star: A Hub for Start-up Innovation
Expand North Star, hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, will be held at the new Dubai Harbour venue. It is set to become the world's largest start-up event, featuring 1,800 start-ups from over 100 countries. This event aims to connect, inspire, and engage with the global entrepreneurial ecosystem.
More than 1,000 investors with US$1 trillion under management from 70 countries will gather at Expand North Star, signaling a renewed interest in start-up investments.
